The café is called MaLet's Cafe & Coffee Roastery, and I love the clever play on word. The name comes from the Thai word ‘เมล็ด (Ma-led),’ which means ‘bean.’ It’s such a simple yet memorable name that reflects their local root.

Expert-Approved Coffee, Without Breaking the Bank

The owner is seriously passionate about coffee and holds tons of coffee-related certificates, so you know you’re in good hand. But what surprised me the most? The prices! You can get a proper quality Americano or Latte for under 100 THB — in the heart of Charoenkrung, the Bangkok Oldtown! For this quality, it’s honestly a steal.

Choose Your Bean, Your Way

Another cool thing is you can select your own bean. Even if you’re not a coffee expert, the owner is super friendly and explain everything in detail. You can try different bean every time.

Cozy, Down-to-Earth Local Vibe

The café is right off Charoenkrung Road, so it’s super easy to find. It’s not flashy or designed for Instagram, but that’s what makes it charming. It’s simple, clean, and cozy—perfect for sitting down and enjoying your coffee in peace. This place is also super close to my massage shop, so it naturally became part of my daily routine. Grabbing delicious coffee every day without feeling guilty on the wallet? Can’t ask for more!
